. . . in the last...5 minutes...reading a memo from @gpbaiocchi , reflecting on a conference call organized by @mo87mo87, and a pep talk from ryan who is technically on twitter even if he won't use it (@_ParaTodosTodo), and another from @taraghuveer . . .
. . . I'm struck by how lucky I am to be surrounded by so many smart people who are ready to meet this moment and I am incredibly thankful for all the free labor so many people are giving the housing justice movement. there is literally no option but to win.
Maybe this will cheer you: inspired by HJ4A, I organized my building and we wrote a letter to the landlord threatening a rent strike if he didn't give us a rent reduction... and he did! Building-wide rent reduction of 40%! When we fight we win!

Exactly so. It's uncharted territory & we are bring put to the test. May we be equal to it. The stakes have felt this high before, but this time they are existential on a global scale.
